ACCOUNTING

VP of Finance & Accounting

As VP of Finance and Accounting, you will be in charge of regular bookkeeping and accounting, including the preparation of the financial statements according to US-GAAP. Additional responsibilities include:

-Creating action plan for building an effective Finance Department in a high sales growth/manufacturing environment.
-Organizing and setting finance group timetables aligned with the company's strategy and guiding principles.
-Responsible for all financials, including international accounting standards, cost accounting, foreign currency, consolidation, monthly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
-Establishing partnerships with line managers to support them with business analysis, cost control and financing, as well as working closely with cost accountants in manufacturing.
-Pro-actively participate to build an organization that is focused on cost control.

This position reports to the CEO and CFO of the corporation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-BA or BS in accounting/finance and MBA or Masters in Finance; CPA a plus.
-Minimum 15 years experience with at least 10 years in a management role.
-Minimum 5 years of practice in an international firm of chartered accountants and auditors dealing with foreign companies/clients or as in-house head of finance in an international company located within the US.
-Bi-lingual in English and German preferred.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
-Intercultural ability, demonstrated either by additional academic qualifications or working experience obtained in a country abroad, preferably within Europe.

Tax Manager

 Our client, a large public accounting firm, is looking to hire a tax manager or senior manager. The managers are responsible for client relationships within their area of expertise, direct the work of staff, seniors and supervisors assigned to their client engagements. Other duties include tax return review, tax research and planning, disputing resolutions with tax authorities, representing client in tax exams with all issues, and field review. The role consists primarily of SALT and Federal tax work.

Requirements:
4+ years of tax experience at a public accounting firm, CPA, and experience working with privately-held clients. Industry experience in manufacturing, real estate, construction, not-for profit and government is strongly desired.

The candidate will have the option to work out of the Northbrook Office or the Chicago Office.

Senior Auditor

 Would you like to work for one of the fastest growing professional consulting firms in the Chicagoland area as an Audit Manager or Senior Manager?  Do you desire to have the option to work for different offices?  Your experience as a CPA in public accounting will qualify you for this opportunity.  Responsibilities will include:

 
-Direct the work of staff, seniors and supervisors assigned to their client engagements.

-Conduct and supervise all aspects of field work for financial statement audit nad accounting engagements.

-Prepare staff evaluation reports.

-Complete all financial statements, tax returns and special services.

-Review all work papers, financial statements and tax returns before submission to manager/principal for review.

 We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of financial statement audit experience at a public accounting firm.  CPA is strongly desired.  Experience working with privately-held clients is a plus.  Industry experience in manufacturing, real estate, construction, not-for-profit and government is strongly desired.

Senior Accountant/Analyst

Family oriented business in Glenview is seeking an experience senior accountant.  This is a full-time permanent position that offers outstanding benefits and compensation package.  Duties consist of the following:

Experience working on a global level with domestic and foreign controllers

SEC and FASB research and reporting

Maintaining general ledgers, earnings estimation, and monthly financials to the board of directors

 Assisting in preparation for the 10Q, 10K and annual reports for the SEC

Senior Staff Accountant

Global organization in the Loop is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant.  This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior staff accountant that has 4 plus years experience in corporate accounting with the following responsibilities:

 Review general ledger accounts, prepare draft financial statements, perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and inter-company general ledger accounts, performs monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.  Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts, conduct initial internal control evaluations, ascertain whether company assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded from loss, post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals, additional accounting duties as needed.  Knowledge working with the foreign exchange is a plus.  Plus full knowledge and understanding of GAAP and IFRS. MANAGEMENT

Contracts Manager

As Senior Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the project execution of individual US projects from a commercial perspective, from the time of taking it over for the sales team until its definite transfer to the service organization, and in close cooperation with the corporate headquarters in Europe.

Responsibilities Include:
-Represent the project in cooperation with the Technical-Operational Project Manger towards banks, insurance companies, government authorities, etc.
-Ensure compliance with contractual deadlines.
-Submit invoices to the clients.
-Handle tax related issues, locate cost control and the realization of subcontracts and purchase orders.
-Relative to project calculation, provide monthly project reporting, project related cash flow planning and claim management.
-Negotiate/administer contract and various contracting agreements with subcontractors.
-Document financial and contractual risks and key contact terms.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelors Degree of Science or Administration.
-Minimum 5 years experience as a Qualified Senior Commercial Manager with excellent qualification in commercial project execution in the US
-Background in a legal, insurance, tax and / or finance capacity related to complex technical projects either in civil construction, manufacturing/plant engineering, wind turbine or similar industries.
-Bi-lingual in English and German preferred.
-A Pro-active attitude.
-Intercultural ability demonstrated either by additional academic qualifications or working experience obtained in a country abroad, preferably in Europe.

Our client located in downtown Chicago has an outstanding sales opportunity for a seasoned National Sales Representative to manage their commercial and industrial product sales.  This position requires you to generate profitable and complex sales on both national and local levels, assisting with the development and
